Peaq Unveils Tokenized Robo-Farm in Hong Kong

Peaq, a blockchain network specializing in the Machine Economy, has partnered with DualMint and KanayaAI to launch the world's first tokenized vertical robo-farm in Hong Kong. The project autonomously grows crops indoors using stacked layers, artificial lighting, and hydroponics, achieving a 20% yield while reducing land and water usage compared to traditional farming.
The farm's cash FLOW is linked to NFTs, allowing holders to earn returns based on food sales. Leonard Dorlöchter, co-founder of peaq, highlighted the dual benefit of generating yield and supporting critical food infrastructure during Korea Blockchain Week 2025. Vertical farming addresses urban land scarcity by producing consistent yields close to consumers.
